A flower arranging basket - hanakago - by Inose Kohosai (1897-1991) from Kansai (active in Osaka). Kohosai studied under Yamashita Kochikusai. Vase executed in bamboo, rattan and lacquer using different techniques such as mutsume-ami and ajiro-ami. Showa-period.
